New Edge Associates is seeking a detail-driven Wire Transfer Specialist to support a leading financial institution’s wire operations. This onsite role oversees daily wire processing, verifies incoming and outgoing transactions, and ensures all activity meets strict regulatory and internal compliance standards. The specialist will monitor for fraud, manage process flows, provide guidance to team members, and prepare reports for audits and management. This position requires deep knowledge of wire systems, remittance rules, and banking regulations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform and verify daily domestic and international wire transfers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to cutoff times and procedures.
Supervise workflow overflow and provide training and guidance within the wire area.
Ensure full compliance with OFAC, Reg E, Dodd-Frank, BSA/AML, CIP, and remittance regulations.
Monitor and escalate fraudulent or suspicious activity in accordance with state and federal requirements.
Prepare operational reports for management review, audits, and regulatory examinations.
Process ACH transactions in accordance with NACHA rules and internal procedures.
Oversee process flows, support contingency planning, and assist with complex transaction investigations.

Minimum Requirements:

5+ years of experience processing domestic and international wire transfers within a banking or financial institution.
Strong understanding of remittance transfers, banking regulations, and compliance laws.
Familiarity with systems such as SWIFT, Fedwire, CHIPS, and automated funds transfer platforms; Temenos is a plus.
Experience handling complex cases, investigations, and high-volume transactions.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
