Private Relationship Banker

Job Summary

We are seeking a client-focused Private Relationship Bankers to join a growing Private Banking team. This role sits within the Private Banking department and is designed for experienced private banking professionals who excel in high-touch client service rather than loan production. Acting as a concierge-style banker, the Private Relationship Banker serves as a trusted liaison between clients, lenders, and internal partners, ensuring a seamless, white-glove banking experience.


The position offers significant exposure to referral opportunities from Treasury Management and Business Banking teams and provides strong incentive upside without direct account opening responsibilities. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for private banking clients, delivering a concierge-level experience
  • Act as a liaison between clients, lenders, and internal banking teams to ensure smooth execution and follow-through
  • Manage client onboarding and KYC processes, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate client requests across Treasury Management, Business Banking, and Private Banking partners
  • Support referral-driven growth through strong internal partnerships
  • Maintain high-touch communication with clients and proactively manage relationship needs
  • Participate in after-hours client events and relationship-building activities
  • Support out-of-state client relationships, including required monthly travel
  • Uphold service standards, professionalism, and brand representation at all times

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prior experience in private banking or a high-touch relationship banking role required
  • Strong working knowledge of KYC and client onboarding processes
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Polished, professional presence with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships and internal stakeholders
  • Comfort participating in after-hours and relationship-driven events
  • Willingness to travel monthly in support of out-of-state expansion
  • Strong culture fit with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
