The Loan Operations Manager to lead the daily functions of a loan operations team and ensure efficient, accurate execution across the loan lifecycle. This role is both hands-on and supervisory, ideal for someone who has grown through loan operations and can balance team leadership with active operational support.

The Loan Operations Manager plays a critical role in maintaining workflow continuity, supporting staff with escalations, and ensuring loan onboarding and closing activities are completed accurately and on time. This position is fully on-site and includes direct management of a small operations team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day loan operations workflows to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.
Support team members with questions, escalations, and process guidance, particularly during leadership absences or peak periods.
Manage and coordinate loan onboarding and closing activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Lead onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing team members.
Provide coaching, feedback, and performance support to direct reports.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist with implementing standardized best practices.
Serve as a working manager by performing operational tasks as needed while supervising the team.
