National Team Leader Assocation Banking

Job Summary

 The National Team Leader – Association Banking is responsible for leading, developing, and scaling a nationwide team of Commercial Relationship Officers dedicated to serving Homeowners Associations (HOAs), Condominium Associations (COAs), and Residential Property Management Companies. This role drives strategic growth across deposits, lending, and fee-based services while ensuring sound credit practices, regulatory compliance, and a best-in-class client experience. The Team Leader acts as both a people leader and industry ambassador, strengthening market presence and positioning the bank as a trusted financial partner within the association banking space.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic planning, prioritization, and resource allocation to achieve growth and profitability goals
  • Recruit, coach, and manage a national team of Commercial Relationship Officers
  • Oversee portfolio growth across deposits, loans, treasury services, and ancillary products
  • Evaluate and structure association credit facilities, including operating lines, reserve loans, special assessments, and capital improvement financing
  • Analyze association financials, reserve studies, delinquency trends, and repayment capacity
  • Ensure compliance with governing documents, underwriting standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Drive targeted business development and marketing initiatives within the HOA/COA segment
  • Monitor portfolio performance, risk metrics, and documentation accuracy
  • Serve as an industry thought leader, enhancing brand visibility and market reputation

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; equivalent experience considered
  • Banking experience required
  • 10+ years of experience in Association Banking or Association Lending
  • Deep knowledge of HOA/COA governance, reserve funding, and credit structures
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and scale high-performing teams
  • Strong financial analysis, credit judgment, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel
