Universal Banker (floater)

Job Summary

The Universal Banker plays a key role in delivering full-service banking experiences to customers across multiple branch locations in Miami including Doral, 8th Street, South Miami, and Bird Road. This hybrid position requires flexibility to rotate between four branches and fluency in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, sales-driven, and adaptable, with the ability to provide seamless service and support in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities include handling transactions, opening accounts, cross-selling products, and maintaining compliance standards while consistently representing the bank's values and goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, personalized service to customers across assigned locations.
  • Build relationships through needs-based conversations and identify banking solutions.
  • Open, manage, and maintain personal and business deposit accounts.
  • Perform teller transactions: deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
  • Ensure cash drawer accuracy, reconcile balances, and follow cash handling protocols.
  • Promote digital banking tools and educate customers on self-service options.
  • Meet individual and branch sales goals through referrals and proactive outreach.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance including BSA, AML, and KYC procedures.
  • Assist with ATM and vault operations, and complete all required documentation.
  • Collaborate with branch teams and assist with daily branch operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of banking, cash handling, or customer service experience.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel daily between locations.
  • Strong communication, sales, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking systems.
