Fraud Specialist

Monitor and analyze transactions for suspicious activity using fraud detection systems.
Investigate alerts, cases, and disputes to determine potential fraudulent behavior.
Identify, prevent, and mitigate fraud losses related to check fraud, account takeover, kiting, dormant account fraud, elder abuse, and online fraud.
Monitor and review fraud risks, as well as unique or highly complex exceptions generated from various fraud prevention systems, filters, and exception reports.
Document fraud alerts, build case files, and escalate cases as needed.
Work through high volumes of potential alerts to identify actual fraud events and take appropriate action.
Monitor the Fraud Department inbox, respond to inquiries, and escalate issues as necessary.
Provide research and investigative support to assist Fraud Investigators with ongoing investigations.
Handle inbound and outbound fraud-related calls with customers and other financial institutions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
