Leadership and Management
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of underwriters and loan processors.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities.
Ensure team members adhere to company policies and procedures. Loan Processing and Underwriting
Oversee the loan processing and underwriting functions to ensure timely and accurate loan approvals.
Ensure that all loans meet ICB guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and manage loan pipeline to ensure efficient workflow and timely closings. Regulatory Compliance
Maintain extensive knowledge of all applicable federal regulatory compliance laws, including but not limited to TILA, RESPA, ECOA, HMDA, and TRID.
Implement and enforce compliance policies and procedures.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations. Operational Efficiency
Utilize Encompass software (or equivalent) to streamline loan origination and processing.
Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce processing times.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the Encompass system (or equivalent). Customer Service • Ensure that a high level of customer service is provided to all clients and stakeholders.
Resolve escalated customer issues and complaints promptly and effectively.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential mortgage lending, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Knowledge and Skills
Extensive knowledge of federal regulatory compliance laws (TILA, RESPA, ECOA, HMDA, TRID, etc.).
Proficiency in using Encompass software for loan origination and processing.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Certifications
Certification in mortgage lending or regulatory compliance is a plus.
